District Sales Executive

This role is responsible for the acquisition and retention of clients for our slate of logistics and transportation solutions on all segments, including air, ocean, and ground service. The District Sales Executive acts as a trusted advisor to clients, develops new revenue opportunities, creates value-added products, and cultivates mutually beneficial partnerships.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and top-notch prospecting skills through various means to identify clients and generate new revenue; this includes networking with partners and contacts, conducting industry research, mining social media, and applying industry, technology, and solution-oriented product knowledge to identify strategic sales opportunities and generate new business.
  • Uses client, prospect, and partner feedback to implement a strategy to expand product opportunities within the current account base.
  • Conducts opportunity assessments of a client base to proactively understand client needs and develop in-depth account plans/solutions. (SOP)
  • Develops strong relationships with the new and existing customers.
  • Presents proposals to corporate decision-makers for new business, renewals, changes to (SOP) procedures, and expansion of the existing base.
  • Works closely with Operations Teams to ensure successful post-sales implementation and contractual fulfillment options.
  • Utilizes CRM to manage sales pipelines and actively track activities every week.
  • Follows Geoz Global sales process.
  • Capable of presenting to customers and corporate leaders all aspects of service in the Logistics/Transportation field.

Requirements

  • College education, a bachelor’s degree in Business a plus.
  • Over five years of sales experience preferred, 3 years logistics sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization, including c-level executives.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust.
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload to achieve results – self-starter.
  • Possess a passion for sales with a healthy sense of competition.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Proficient in using MS Office products, specifically Outlook and CRM.
  • Outstanding work ethics.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
Supplemental pay types: Commission pay
Ability to commute/relocate: Tempe, AZ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification: Driver’s License (Preferred)
Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)

Global Cargo Operations

This role is responsible for developing effective and efficient administrative processes for international and domestic department operations, proper international and domestic compliance for their accounts, manage new client quotes with optimal accuracy and timing.

Activities and responsibilities:

  • Implementation and control of processes suitable for optimal operation and communication for assigned accounts.
  • Coordination of communications between operations, customers, and Sales to ensure a timely and appropriate response.
  • Distribute workloads evenly and suggest new personnel to DM when appropriate.
  • Invoicing is done daily.
  • Compliance with quality Manual, keeping the correct image and philosophy of the company.
  • Operate in a proper and professional manner, ensuring the good image of the company before authorities and customers.
  • Maintain the continuous and adequate flow of precise, timely, and concise information to the Operations Manager.
  • Promote and support sales as much as possible with the guidance of the Sales Manager or District Manager.
  • Promote appropriate communication between operations personnel and our customers.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 – $31.00 per hour
