Role Description

The Account Manager reports to the Vice President of the company is responsible for generating business revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding the business within existing client base, selling logistics and transportation solutions for trade segments: Air, Ocean, and Ground service. This role will leverage our relationships with clients of all sizes, looking at solutions to all their transportation needs. The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor to our clients, developing new revenue opportunities, creating value-added opportunities, and cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships. We are focused on helping organizations deliver better customer experiences using Standard operating procedures.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and top-notch prospecting skills through various means to identify clients and generate new revenue; this includes networking with partners and contacts, conducting industry research, mining social media, and applying industry, technology, and solution-oriented product knowledge to identify strategic sales opportunities and generate new business.
  • Use client, prospect, and partner feedback to implement strategies to expand product opportunities within the current account base
  • Conduct opportunity assessments of a client base to proactively understand client needs and develop in-depth account plans/solutions. (SOP)
  • Develop strong relationships with New and Existing Customers Leadership team, which can result in new business opportunities.
  • Present proposals to corporate decision-makers for new business, renewals, changes to (SOP) procedures, and expansion of the existing base.
  • Work closely with Operations Teams to ensure successful post-sales implementation and contractual fulfillment options.
  • Utilizes CRM to manage sales pipelines and actively track activities on a weekly basis.
  • Follows Geoz Global sales process.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and capable of presenting to customers and corporate leaders on all aspects of service in the Logistics/Transportation field.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; bachelor’s degree in business a plus
  • Over 5 years of sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding or related industry,
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively, at all levels of an organization, including C level executives.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple engagements at one time with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated relationship building and interpersonal skills to include the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust.
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload to achieve results – self-starter style.
  • Possess a passion for sales with a healthy sense of competition.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products, specifically Outlook and CRM.

Warehouse Lead

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Lead position at GEOZ Global. The Warehouse Lead reports to the Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The Warehouse Lead also communicates with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to resolve issues or complaints and ensures compliance with health and safety (OSHA) regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the warehouse is mopped in its entirety first thing in the morning and before closing on a daily basis
  • Verify inventory in the morning and in the evening and track variances on a daily basis
  • Empty trash containers from the break room and bathrooms on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Replace light bulbs in the office and bathrooms and report electrical issues to our vendor, monthly or as needed
  • Help file old accounting reports in the warehouses on a quarterly basis
  • Assist in maintaining and filing all annual data as per CBP, TSA, IRS, and all government agencies laws.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or warehouse operations a plus
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations
